At the end of Franchise Street
A benchmark, deeply inscribed in the brickwork of a large house at the west end of Franchise Street. It dates from the inter-war period, although the house itself is from the late nineteenth century. Monitoring station on Rodwell Road
Weymouth's coastal aspect helps with the traffic pollution levels, although the busy and steep junction in Rodwell causes some concern. To monitor the situation an environment monitor station has been installed. Some form of furniture has been here since the junction was reprofiled around 2010 and the current equipment since 2015.

Weymouth Harbour taken from the south side
An early morning shot of the outer harbour taken from the south side, looking north towards Melcombe Regis. Prominent on the quay is The George Inn, but the real subjects of the photo are the fishing boats that continue to work into Weymouth, co-existing with the expensive boats found in the inner harbour marina.
