Weymouth's coastal aspect helps with the traffic pollution levels, although the busy and steep junction in Rodwell causes some concern. To monitor the situation an environment monitor station has been installed. Some form of furniture has been here since the junction was reprofiled around 2010 and the current equipment since 2015.
