Houses Woodloes Park
This small group of houses is tucked in between Wedgnock Rd the main through road in Woodloes and the A46 Warwick by pass dual carriageway which is tucked in the trees just behind the houses. They are actually in Hughes Close.

Bluebells in a patch of woodland by Twycross Walk, Woodloes Park, Warwick
The wood is a maze of informal paths – too many. There is a scout hut at the north end. Some flats can be made out through the trees.

West end of Primrose Hill, Warwick
Primrose Hill skirts the Wedgnock industrial estate and heads for the Woodloes Park residential estate. A noisy spot - the A46 dual carriageway runs on an embankment behind the trees, left.

Public open space by Twycross Walk, Woodloes Park, north Warwick
Twycross Walk houses and flats are offstage left. Ahead and offstage right is the Wedgnock industrial estate. Warwick Scouts still have their hut in the little wood, left. Although blank white on the map, clumps of vegetation create pleasant spaces, frame inviting views.

St John's Brook reappears from under the road, Wedgnock, north Warwick
Rising about 2km north of here, St John's Brook then plays hide and seek as it runs southeast through the town, joining the River Avon above Castle Bridge. It has just passed under the A46 Warwick bypass (on an embankment among trees in the background) then under this distributor road which may be Primrose Hill or may be Wedgnock Lane: it isn't clear from mapping or Streetview where the change occurs. More interestingly, a very informal footpath follows the brook south, bounded by the Wedgnock industrial estate, before emerging on the towpath of the Grand Union Canal at Cape top lock:
