Croydon During Covid-19
Ruskin House, at the southern end of Park Lane, with a poster for the St. Patrick's Day which 'didn't happen'. Worldwide celebrations were cancelled, due to Covid-19. Traffic was light and very few people were out walking.

Ruskin House
A grade 2 listed house (List Entry Number 1294673) on the corner of Lower Coombe Street (foreground) and Park Lane, South Croydon. The building is Georgian in style, dating from the early 18th century and was formerly called Coombe Hill House. It was renamed Ruskin House in 1967 when it became the home of various socialist groups, according to the Wiki entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruskin_House . It now also hosts a social club.

Early C18th, originally Coombe Hill House. Good doorcase (Image]). Grade II listed. Fine gates, piers and overthrow. Grade II listed. Ruskin House hosts various organisations associated with the labour movement and trades unions, such as the local Labour Party and the Communist Party.
