Wirral Magistrates' Courts, Birkenhead
This is the main entrance on Chester Street. The building is at the back of the old town hall, and I would imagine it was built at the same time (1887). Many high profile cases have been heard here.

Sessions House, Chester Street, Birkenhead
Baroque with all manner of flourishes. By T.D. Barry & Son, 1884-87. Grade II listed. This building, which backs on to the Town Hall (Image] ) and once also housed a police station, now serves as Wirral Magistrates' Court.

Mid-C19th. It was very obviously a pub once, the Glass Barrel at some point. Grade II listed. At the time, it was Enterprise House, "a business and digital learning centre".
