| 4 Oct 2025 | General ASB and violence, retail theft and street drinking. Response (4 Oct 2025)Dedicated officers have visited a number of locations to hold mini surgeries to discuss local concerns. Issues highlight that service providers and locations frequented by service users are a real concern. A problem solving approach with our partners has been agreed to combat the consumption of high strength alcohol and proxy purchasing. Weekly visits to hostels and combined visits to agreed locations during the evening to signpost individuals to appropriate support services/hostels. Various ASB legislation and orders such as CBOs and CPNs are being applied for and issued to prolific offenders. |

Retailers also raise concerns about theft from their stores and prolific offenders. There are concerns in relation to violence and the use of illegal bikes throughout the town centre. Response (11 Dec 2025)Dedicated officers have visited a number of locations to hold mini surgeries to discuss local concerns. Issues highlight that service providers and locations frequented by service users are a real concern.
