Now Wirral Magistrates' Court, The Sessions Court (nearest the camera) was built 1885-87. It is a grade II listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 389151 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-389151-sessions-court-#.VbyZe3nbKHs British Listed Buildings). Further down the street, the Town Hall (with the dome) dates from 1883. It is grade II-listed (English Heritage Building ID: 389214 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-389214-town-hall-#.Vbya5XnbKHs British Listed Buildings).
