Poultry Shed, Grassington Farm
These sheds have been here since the 1970s and like another set to the west will probably be replaced in the near future. The drive is part of the footpath that runs from Redgill Lane to East Grinstead Road, the A275.

Station Road, North Chailey
This section of the A272 runs in a virtual straight line from the junction with the A275 north to East Grinstead and the western edge of the village of Newick. This section of the road was built in the 1770s as a turnpike to replace the old east-west route which meandered across Red House Common to the north of the windmill then eventually joined modern day Jackies Lane and headed off to Fletching then Maresfield. As the name suggests from the 1880s to 1958 it was also the route to Chailey & Newick station which lay halfway between the two.
