This section is now a quiet residential road but the former droveway linked the centre of Hailsham with New Bridge via the Pevensey Levels. This section is passing the maurice Thornton Playing Fields to the left.

Marshfoot Lane
Taken from the junction of that lane with Vicarage Road and Vicarage Lane. The lane is the western end of an old drove road that crosses the Pevensey Levels from New Bridge.
