Elm Rise
A small cul de sac off Beech Road that was developed in the 1960s after the fields of Findon Farm were sold. Another development, Horseshoe Close, has been added at the top of the short road.

Stable Lane
The old eastern route to Steyning from the village of Findon now reduced to the status of byway beyond Downs House. The name itself probably dates from the last half of the 19th century when The Downs racing stables were constructed, prior to that this was all empty downland.

The name of a small cul de sac located off Stable Lane that was developed fairly recently in the grounds of the house on the right called Braeside. The trees on the left are a surviving hedgerow that once separated two fields called Warehouse Field on this side and the north west corner of Soldiers Field beyond.
