Winton: Boundary Road and bridleway N03 are side by side
The reason for the parallel routes is that the bridleway, also now a service road (right) is the historical course of Boundary Road; the main A347 was built in the 1980s. See Image for more discussion on this, including the fact that the two routes are not quite actually parallel. See Image for the next view along the route ahead, and Image for the next view behind. These links contain further links to photos all along the course of the bridleway.

Winton: bridleway N03 alongside the footbridge
The bridleway takes the historical route of Boundary Road, alongside the present-day A347 called Boundary Road. The footbridge crosses the latter. See Image for more discussion on the history of the route. The path, both ahead and behind, becomes a service road linking the parallel side-roads that would have ended on the track that Boundary Road once was. See Image for the next view along the bridleway ahead, with links to further photos all along the route, and Image for the view behind us to its southern end.

Talbot Village: footpath E41 comes out on Boundary Road
Looking out of the woods of Talbot Village by way of this short public footpath which links with another path behind us. It emerges onto the main Boundary Road just by the footbridge - the white railings visible are at the bottom of the footbridge ramp. See Image for the view towards us from the railings, and Image for the next view along the path behind us, and further links to photos on continuing paths.

Talbot Village: tree roots cross footpath N41
Public footpath N41 is a very short one, leading from Boundary Road just behind us to footpath N40 which runs around this eastern side of the woods. See Image for a view in this direction from the path in the background (and links to further photos on path N40), and Image for the view behind us onto Boundary Road.

Talbot Village: footpath N41 enters the woods
Looking across the Boundary Road pavement into the woodland of Talbot Village, where public footpath E41 provides access. It is a short path, at 29m in length, as it leads almost immediately to another path, N41, which follows this eastern edge of the woods. See Image for the view towards us from just along the path, and further links to photos along the path and beyond.

Talbot Village: footpath N40 heads south
Looking along this public footpath as it heads down the eastern edge of the woodland of Talbot Village, just as it has parted from footpath N12 which runs across the northern edge. The path is not marked on the maps as a public right of way, and this is in common with the other woodland paths numbered in the 30s/40s - I guess they were designated more recently than the lower numbered paths. See Image for the path junction with N12 behind us, and Image for the next photo along the path ahead, each with links to further pictures along the routes.
