Bournemouth: footpath B03 to West Cliff Road
This straight public footpath starts alongside the public toilets, here on the open space on the West Cliff top, through to West Cliff Road. The paved path to our right heads diagonally behind us to the top of the West Cliff Zig-Zag down to the seafront.

Bournemouth: sign for toilets on footpath B03
You need to walk a little way from the road down Image before you reach this sign - it does seem strange that the sign would not be at the start of the path. It is, in fact, by a side walkway from hotels and flats, but surely they have their own toilets?

Looking along this public footpath, connecting West Cliff Road with the West Cliff, on a foggy afternoon as it passes one of the desirable apartment on this western side of the town centre.

The Savoy may be getting help
The Savoy Hotel stands near Bournemouth's popular seafront, but is currently unoccupied. The owners, The Specialist Leisure Group (which include Shearings coach holidays), have had to close in May and the hotel was one of the properties that went with them. However, Bespoke Hotels have signed a five year agreement to run it and hope to have it back in action soon.
