Fairmile: postbox № BH23 44, Fairmile Road
This postbox stands with its back to St. Catherine's Parade, in Fairmile Road, and is flanked by two palm trees. It is emptied finally at 5:15pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays.
The newsagent's behind the postbox was the second of the three premises occupied by Town Common Post Office. It was previously by the roundabout a short distance northwest, moved here in the late 1980s and, after a brief spell of closure about 5 years ago, went into the general store up at
