Bournemouth: footpath C08 from Hinton Road
This public footpath runs from Hinton Road to Westover Road, through a bit of the delivery driveways for the premises of both roads. Here, we see it at its northern end, with a short flight of steps immediately in front of us.

Bournemouth: this way for food on footpath C08
A painted advert says, "Tummy rumbling? Head this way," and points towards us down public footpath C08, which links Westover and Hinton Roads and is essentially a delivery yard.

Bournemouth: footpath C08 from across Westover Road
A public footpath, numbered C08, inconspicuously heads through an arch between two shops as it takes the route of a delivery access to the back of the shops. In fact, PRIVATE ACCESS signage is prevalent, unclearly referring only to vehicular traffic, on the side wall at the entrance.

The arrow prominent at the foot of the picture directs traffic into the right-hand lane, as only buses and taxis can turn left ahead.
