Path beside the Ouse
The river is several feet above normal level, but still below breaking over the path. The floodgate at the other end was in place when I cycled to it, necessitating coming back again!

Works on Scarborough Bridge
Works are ongoing to replace the pedestrian decking with a wider path with ramps on each end. This will make the bridge much more accessible for cyclists, as route 65 switches banks of the river here.

Approach to Scarborough footbridge over the River Ouse
The pedestrian and cycle bridge attached to the Scarborough rail bridge over the River Ouse immediately to the north of York Station was upgraded and reopened in April 2019.

Royal Mail Delivery Office
Royal Mail delievery office in Leeman Road. Until 2013 it also housed the main sorting office for York.

Cycle path to York station
This path has, I think, only been opened in recent years, and links the riverside walk directly to the station service road where cycle racks are located.
