The Gypsey Race, Burton Fleming
An intermittent stream which flows along the chalk of the Yorkshire Wolds. Rising at Wharram it enters the North Sea at Bridlington. Bad fortune is said to follow when the Gypsey Race flows. There was serious flooding of Burton Fleming in 2012.
