Neighbourhood Officer Details
The Neighbourhood Inspector has overall responsibility for the entire neighbourhood policing team of Sergeants, Police Constables, PCSOs and police staff.
They are responsible for delivering on neighbourhood policing strategies, directing the deployment of the team and developing relationships with partners and key stakeholders to enable the neighbourhood policing team to work effectively.

| 8 Dec 2025 | OP YULETIDE Response (8 Dec 2025)Op YULETIDE is another busy period in the NPT Calendar due to increased footfall in town centres. Staff from Driffield NPT have numerous abstractions during this period with the aim of: · High visibility patrols around the town centre to keep ASB related logs at a minimum Driffield Christmas Light Switch On was attended by staff from Driffield NPT on 28/11/2025. The event was well organised and there were no incidents of note. |

| 8 Dec 2025 | ASB Driffield TOWN – Raised by Driffield Town Council Response (8 Dec 2025)Concerns have been raised by Driffield Town Council in relation to ASB in the town. Town Councillors were reassured by police attendees at a recent meeting that ASB in the town spiked during the summer period (as is often seen during this period) but is now decreasing again as we enter the winter months. A Patch Walk including ERYC ASB Team, ERYC Housing and Driffield NPT was arranged for 05/12/2025 and Driffield NPT will continue to patrol any hotspot areas identified and liaise with the town council. |

Proactive high-visibility patrols have been utilised and as a result a number of individuals will soon receive ABC's (Acceptable Behaviour Contracts) or Fairway letters. In conjunction with ERYC our enquiries continue. This priority will continue over the summer months. |

For operational and data protection reasons we are unable to give specific details of locations / premises or persons that we are currently investigating. We have been working with other agencies to tackle individuals of concern linked to drug misuse. We ask that you report any concerns around drugs misuse that you have. You may have information that adds to an ongoing concern, and this can really help when we apply for Warrants. You can speak to us at any Police Station in confidence or alternatively report anonymously via ‘CrimeStoppers’ at https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ |
