Care home on Goldthorn Hill, Wolverhampton
This large residence is at the top of the hill and used to be a care home for the elderly. A lot of renovation work has been carried out recently and I am unsure of its current status.

Goldthorn Hill approaching Blakenhall, Wolverhampton
A4039, Penn Road to Bilston.
This is at the top of the hill. Pedestrian lights ahead are before the junction with Upper Villiers Street. Traffic congestion occurs every weekday, especially coming towards the camera. There are too many opportunities for right turns coming from Blakenhall, all of which cause repeated halting of traffic flow. Avoid between 08:00-9:00 and 15:00-18:00 (including "school run" times).

This is the A4039 between Penn and Bilston, looking east from near the junction with Coton Road. Normally a busy road in daytime, the usual traffic is missing due to coronavirus COVID-19 "Lockdown" restrictions. The large house on the left used to be a care home.

A4039, Bilston to Penn. This is at the top of the hill. The premises on the embankment was a care home, but has had a lot of renovation done recently and I am unsure of its present status.
