Footbridge at Bridgnorth
This footbridge connects Bridgnorth station with the High Town. It replaced an older bridge, built by the local council over 100 years ago.

Bridgnorth Footbridge
This footbridge has a very interesting history, including the former footbridge on the site. The old footbridge was erected in 1895 to lead locals/visitors from the town of Bridgnorth to the railway station/Severn Valley Railway. It originally had three arches, which those arches led down into private land (formerly grass, now covered by an industrial area and road). The old bridge was demolished in 1976, due to the structure being dangerous. In 1994, a newer footbridge (as you can see in this photo) was erected, but the arches were shortened down to two.
