No. 3 Kings Court, Worcestershire Royal Hospital
The PFI development included three large office blocks at Kings Court. This is No. 3 and is now rented by the Trust as office accommodation. A data centre is also being built and the power supply has apparently been upgraded. The building, forced draught coolers and storage tank on the right are, I think, part of a cooling system that is obviously part of the data centre.

Office blocks next to Worcestershire Royal Hospitals
These are commercial office blocks that were built alongside the private finance initiative hospital and make money for the owning company. The hospital is seen extreme left. A cold pre-Christmas Sunday.

No. 3 King's Court by Worcestershire Royal Hospital
The King's Court office blocks (three of them) were built as part of the private finance initiative building Worcestershire Royal Hospital and form another source of income for Siemens who run the PFI project. The Acute Hospital Trust rents No. 3 King's Court as office space and users of it include IT and colorectal cancer screening among many others. It also includes the meeting room for cancer multidisciplinary team meetings.

To the centre and right is the newly extended emergency department that open in August 2016. The small blue and white sign is on the new containerised plant room that helps service the extension. It is in front of the very similar style of modular building forming the Surgical clinical decisions Unit (SCDU).

The Trust is renting the adjoining office block - No. 3 Kings Court and is installing a data centre. I believe this is part of the power supply and cooling system for this.

Path skirting Worcester Royal Hospital
The buildings on this side of the site are commercial office blocks (Atkins et al). This is a PFI hospital and these are part of the financial equation, along with the expensive car park just over the hedge to the left.
