Fruitlands, The Railway and the Golf Course
Viewed from the top of the Wyche. The Fruitlands housing estate was developed in the latter half of the 1970s. The Great Malvern to Colwall railway line separates the estate from the modern Golf Course.

Down goods near Malvern Wells (GW)
View northward, towards Great Malvern and Worcester on the Worcester - Hereford Main line. The Malvern Hills rise steeply up to the left and the local goods is about to pass through them in the Colwall Tunnel - single-bore and almost a mile long, so the crew will suffer. Their locomotive is ancient 'Dean Goods 0-6-0 No. 2339 (built 6/1884, withdrawn 3/52).
