Belle House restaurant, Pershore
A fine restaurant that in 2011 had a chef in the 'Great British Menu' competition on national television. The lunch menu is very reasonable and even the tasting menu is competive when compared with many establishments. I have no interest in this establishment beyond a liking for good food.

Belle House, 5A Bridge Street, Pershore, Worcs
The building has an interesting history. It dates from the 18th century and was originally a warehouse belonging to the draper opposite. In 1902 it was converted into a fire station. Then in 1973 it was restored and converted into a house and shop. A highly regarded fine dining restaurant and bar called Belle House operated here for about fifteen years. This closed on the 27th July 2019 when the proprietors decided not to renew the lease for personal reasons (as reported in the Worcester News). The building is Grade II listed.
