On the east side of High street, close to the junction with Bridge Street/Broad Street. These two shops are Grade 2 listed, dating from the early 19th century. They have decorative cast-iron verandahs with hipped painted lead roofs. They are said to be on the site of the former Kings Head Inn and were in use as a chemist's shop by 1814.
