Old Milepost by the A56, London Road, Stockton Heath
Cast iron post by the A56, in parish of Stockton Heath (Warrington District), London Road, at the junction with Grappenhall Road in niche between shops, on East side of road. Cast iron CCC1898, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-
