Priorities
| 1 Nov 2025 | Local businesses have reported an increase in shoplifting, especially in the main supermarkets, who have seen an increase in theft of meat in particular in recent weeks. Response (1 Nov 2025)Working with local businesses, we have scrutinised their CCTV images, and using our facial recognition technology combined with local officer knowledge, we have identified a persistent, repeat offender who is responsible for a number of these thefts. Efforts are currently underway to arrest this individual, who has also been shown to be responsible for a number of thefts in the town centre in addition to Stockton Heath. We will continue to patrol our high foot fall areas and public spaces and we are looking forward to Stockton Heath Festival and Stockton Heath Walking Day! |
