POLICE DETAILS
Cheshire Constabulary - Stockton Heath Neighbourhood

Local businesses have reported an increase in shoplifting, especially in the main supermarkets, who have seen an increase in theft of meat in particular in recent weeks.

Working with local businesses, we have scrutinised their CCTV images, and using our facial recognition technology combined with local officer knowledge, we have identified a persistent, repeat offender who is responsible for a number of these thefts.  Efforts are currently underway to arrest this individual, who has also been shown to be responsible for a number of thefts in the town centre in addition to Stockton Heath. We will continue to patrol our high foot fall areas and public spaces and we are looking forward to Stockton Heath Festival and Stockton Heath Walking Day!

Mini Police
Our Mini Police, which consists of pupils from Stockton Heath Primary school were deployed for the first time on 16th December, accompanied by PCSO Burke they completed a litter pick on Alexandra Park.  Next on their agenda is Road Safety, so keep your eyes peeled for their deployments.
Shoplifting
Female suspect identified for theft from Aldi; arrested, charged and sentenced to 26 weeks imprisonment.
Juvenile identified for theft from Starbucks; referral completed to Youth Services.
Licensing
A number of local licensing operations were carried out over the festive period in Stockton Heath, with several premises visited to check their compliance on Challenge 25, and their knowledge of the ‘Ask Angela’ scheme.  Pleased to report most passed with no issues.  Premises that failed will receive follow-up action.
ASB
Following numerous reports of boat related ASB on Beech Road, we completed a site visit with BCC. Several of the offending boats were spoken to about ASB and BCC license offences and have since left the area.
Joint warrant conducted with RSPCA, 2 cats were recovered due to neglect.
Road Safety
Off road motorbike seized by officers following reports of it being ridden in an anti-social manner in Stockton Heath.

ASB - We are aware of an emerging issue at Alexandra Park, with a recent increase in reports of ASB at this location. The local Beat Team is increasing patrols and visibility in this area, and a number of youths have been identified.  Two eScooters were recently seized from individuals as these are being ridden on public roads and footpaths without any insurance being in place.

Road Safety - Speeding on local roads remains a priority across Warrington South and the South Beat team conduct regular speed enforcement on a number of keys roads.  Our last speeding operation took place this quarter on various roads across the area and detected a total of 35 vehicles exceeding the speed limits, who’s drivers will be receiving fixed penalties through the post.
