Two-sided sundial, Peover Hall
Historic England lists a sundial in the churchyard, but this one is outside it and doesn't fit the description. It has an unusual arrangement in which two gnomons on vertical surfaces each tell the time for part of the day (a 'diptych' sundial).
The Latin inscription is "Carpere vel noli nostra vel edetua" which roughly translates as "Don’t criticise the time I give you but publish your own" and the date is 1717.

Peover Hall, coach house - north side
The 18th century coach house (no longer in use as such) is grade II listed (list entry 1329812). The listing notes "Nine bays in A.B.A.C.D:C.A.B.A rhythm". Beyond it, although plainer, is the stable block of 1654 which is grade I listed (list entry 1335855), apparently for its ornate interior, "one of the most lavish buildings of this date in Cheshire".
