Railway south of Castle Bar Park station
The apparent tunnel was formerly a cutting. It was roofed over with a concrete slab and part of the GLC's Copley Close Estate was built over it, opened in 1979. The southern part of the Copley Close road runs directly over the railway.

Train leaving Castle Bar Park station
The Greenford branch of the Great Western Railway had been used for regular passenger services since 1904. When opened in 1906, Castle Bar Park station was called Castle Bar Park Halt. The suffix was dropped on 5th May 1969. This view from the up platform looks in the direction of Drayton Green station which is beyond a tunnel which passes under the housing estate around Copley Close. A Paddington-bound train has just left and is about to enter the tunnel.
