Local shop and EASB The Base, 2012
'EASB The Base' was presumably an Ealing, Acton and Shepherds Bush community facility. All that side of the road including the tree is now demolished and redeveloped with large blocks of flats.

Castle Bar Park station
The Greenford branch of the Great Western Railway had been used for regular passenger services since 1904. When opened in 1906, Castle Bar Park station was called Castle Bar Park Halt. The suffix was dropped on 5th May 1969. This view from the up platform looks in the direction of South Greenford. It can be seen how straight the line is.

Train at Castle Bar Park station
The Greenford branch of the Great Western Railway had been used for regular passenger services since 1904. When opened in 1906, Castle Bar Park station was called Castle Bar Park Halt. The suffix was dropped on 5th May 1969. This view from the up platform looks in the direction of Drayton Green station which is beyond a tunnel which passes under the housing estate around Copley Close. A Paddington-bound train waits to leave.
