The Greenford branch of the Great Western Railway had been used for regular passenger services since 1904. When opened in 1906, Castle Bar Park station was called Castle Bar Park Halt. The suffix was dropped on 5th May 1969. This view from the up platform looks in the direction of South Greenford. It can be seen how straight the line is.
