The line splits into two branches at this point, one going to Heathrow, the other to Uxbridge. The train on the left is bound for Arnos Grove. The District Line also runs through here, terminating two stations later at Ealing Broadway. The three trains on the right are in the sidings at Ealing Common Depot.

London Transport Museum Depot
The LT Museum Depot at Acton houses historic trains and buses, and over 370,000 smaller items, including many original works of art used for the Museum's celebrated poster collection, signs, models, photographs, engineering drawings and uniforms. These all form one of the most comprehensive and important records of urban transport anywhere in the world. The Depot's main purpose is to act as a working museum store. It provides 6000 square metres of storage space in secure, environmentally controlled conditions. It opens to the public for themed weekends several times a year.

An example of the many signs at the London Transport Museum Depot. Clearly, this pre-dates Harry Beck's classic design and the formation of the London Passenger Transport Board in 1933. The only football grounds shown are Brentford, Chelsea and Fulham.
