Located on the corner of Horn Lane and York Road, the business looked to be very busy as I passed by. The partly obscured painted sign on the wall of the building advertises The Acton Bakeries.

Lime-E electric assist hire bikes, Acton Main Line Station
These bikes do not have fixed docking stations. There are groups at places like stations - currently in Ealing and Brent. They can be left anywhere that bikes can be parked. They are unlocked with a smart phone. See Lime website https://www.li.me/electric-assist-bike which says: "To unlock a Lime-E, simply scan the QR code located on the handlebars or the seat panel using the Lime app." The road is the A4000 Horn Lane, the bikes are on the bridge over the GWR main line (and TFL rail), the red bus is a 266 at the Acton Mainline bus stop.

Stabled At Acton
67006 'Royal Sovereign' stands in the headshunt at Acton awaiting its next duty. It is one of a pair from the class of 30 operated by DB Schenker UK that is allocated to royal train duties - although it does have to work on less prestigious tasks as well. Forming a background on Horn Lane above is The Leamington public house.

Watering The Tarmac
Gowing and Pursey's Acton waste transfer and materials recycling station on Horn Lane. Trucks invariably bring in lots of mud and dust with them and a man is stationed on the entrance with a hose in an attempt to keep it under control. There is also a road sweeper that goes out on patrol at regular intervals - you can see its orange rear end to the left of the truck in the centre.
