Flats facing a lawn, Links Road
There are seven similar blocks of mock-Tudor flats in a line from Queens Drive, along Link Road and the last one facing Monks Drive. There is lawn all the way along in front of them. In this photo there is also pink cherry blossom and an azalea, altogether making a pleasant prospect. The flats are type A in the conservation area appraisal http://www.ealing.gov.uk/ealing3/export/sites/ealingweb/services/environment/planning/planning_services/conservation/_docs/_appraisals/Hanger_Hill_Garden_Estate_CA_Appraisal.pdf .

Houses in Queen's Drive
Ian Nairn's description of Queen's Drive in Nairn's London (1966) cannot be improved upon: "Queens Drive is strung between two geographical improbabilities called North Ealing and West Acton. This is a half-timbered square mile, and marvellous nonsense. Go and see!" These houses are on the corner of Queen's Drive with Links Road.

Flats at Links Road/Queens Drive junction
This block is different from others on the estate as it has three wings angled to fit into the road junction. The photo shows the centre section and on the left the wing facing Link Road. In the conservation area appraisal it is shown as flats type D.
