This road has to be unusual because it's a cul-de-sac twice over, with 2 dead ends but both leading to the same place - a park. The houses on the left are very lucky as they are surrounded on 3 sides by Pitshanger Park. One more thing, I don't know why Perivale Gardens isn't in Perivale, but West Ealing? It's puzzled me for over 20 years since I was a postman in W13.

North Ealing: Pitshanger Park
Pitts' Hanger, as it is shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1868, was a farm that was eventually demolished in 1908 during the wholesale residential development that occurred in this area around that time. The name is remembered in Pitshanger Lane and in this park development in the former fields of the farm. Certainly the layout of this park is shown in the Ordnance Survey map of 1920. The trees either side of the avenue are London planes.

Gardens on Pitshanger Park
Obviously in need of a gardener. The whole park is undergoing major building works and currently all the facilities are closed besides the playground, which coincidentally charges for the under fives section to use.
