The Countess of Derby's Almshouses, Church Hill, Harefield
Up the hill from the church, towards the village centre. Endowed by Alice, Lady Derby, who died in 1637. No doubt the fabric of the building (particularly those chimneys) will have been renewed piece-meal in more recent centuries, but the original character has not been lost.
