Ripe for Development?
A surprisingly rural view of farmland in this urban area but not available for public access. I was on a derelict road, closed to vehicles but used by pedestrians, and had to take this photograph through a high chain link fence.

Barrier on Moorcroft Lane
Moorcroft Lane may have been a road in the past, but now it's a fairly overgrown footpath. Someone has thought it necessary to put up this barrier though.

Field at Moorcroft Farm
In these outer suburban areas it is still occasionally possible to find remnants of old rural Middlesex hanging on amongst all the houses. The fields and trees of Moorcroft Farm have somehow held out against the builders. This isn't a park, it's private farmland.

The fields of Moorcroft Farm
Moorcroft Farm seems to have somehow survived, although largely surrounded by housing. One of the fields is seen here from Old Orchard Close.
