End of Terrace, Blyth Road, Hayes
Dwarfed by the featureless facades of the new blocks over the road, this humble terraced house still wins on style. Original window fetishists don't have to comment...

Hayes: Apartments under construction
As with Image which is just visible on the right, the attraction of the immediate proximity of Hayes and Harlington railway station and its access to CrossRail trains planned for 2018, has led to another residential development. This view was taken from the road bridge over the railway at the station. The pipeline in view in the foreground also passes over the railway.

Hayes: Trident House
Trident House was once the headquarters of the Avis car rental company, but has since been converted into 98 luxury apartments by Galliard Homes. The attraction is obvious. The building is a stone's throw away from Hayes and Harlington railway station with fast CrossRail services to central and east London planned to start in 2018. Galliard are releasing the apartments on 29 January 2015, and, starting at £175,000, they will probably be very popular. Question - does one ever see new apartments for sale that are not prefixed with "luxury"?
