Each one of these terraced houses costs as much as a mansion in the north of England, half a million is quite normal and rising sharply.

Ebenezer Baptist Chapel 1897
Quite a few chapels are named Ebenezer so I thought I'd find out a bit more. Not a person at all, but a stone. Smith's Bible Dictionary says :- "Ebenezer (stone of help), a stone set up by Samuel after a signal defeat of the Philistines, as a memorial of the "help" received on the occasion from Jehovah. (1 Samuel 7:12) Its position is carefully defined as between Mizpeh and Shen." The chapel is in Jocelyn Road.
