The mid 18th century house (the five bays with the central doorway and the two bay wing to the south (left)) is now incorporated into Richmond Royal Hospital. The poet James Thompson, writer of 'Rule Britannia' lived here from 1736 to 1748. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1193875
