Restoring the Gothic Tower
Along with the other buildings in Gunnersbury Park, this tower is part of the Gunnersbury 2026 project which is intended to reverse a period of neglect and restore the Park to how it was in better days.
The tower was converted from an old tile kiln, to make a boathouse and viewpoint.

M4 Motorway Concrete Deterioration
The concrete supports for the motorway elevated section are crumbling and it can be seen that the exposed reinforcing bars are suffering from corrosion. Nets are in place to catch any falling concrete

Potomac Pond, Gunnersbury Park
Originally a pit for digging clay, used to make chimney pots, tiles, flower pots and drain pipes. It was added to Gunnersbury Park in 1861 and landscaped as a boating lake. It is now used as a fishing lake. It may be named after the Potomac River in the U.S.A.

M4 Elevated Motorway
The elevated section of the motorway which has the A4 below it is in bad condition and the concrete is crumbling with corroding reinforcing bars exposed. there are extensive nets shrouding parts of the structure to catch any bits of concrete that might fall off on the motorists passing below.
