Road junction, Brentford
Taken beside the Royal Oak (left), one of the pubs at each corner of Griffin Park, Brentford's football ground. In the foreground is New Road; over the staggered crossroads is Hamilton Road. The main road is Brook Road South, but if you turn right you are in a cul-de-sac; Brook Road North continues beyond the railway line (there is a footbridge).

Royal Oak, Brentford
The floodlights of Griffin Park, Brentford's football ground, hang above this pub at the northwest corner of the ground. Famously, and apparently uniquely, there is a pub at each corner. See Image for another view of the road junction.

The Royal Oak, on the corner of Brook Road South (foreground) and New Road (left), a stone's throw from the west corner of Griffin Park, the home ground of Brentford Football Club (one of whose floodlight gantries is visible above the pub). Griffin Park is known for being the only football ground in England with a pub at each corner.

Former chapel, Brentford
This Primitive Methodist Jubilee Chapel dates from 1897. It's mapped as a warehouse, but now is called The Studio and houses an organisation which seeks to draw out the workplace potential of people by using drawing and visual tools.

Northern section of Brook Lane North, Brentford
Seen from the footbridge joining it to its southern section on the other side of the railway line. The elevated section of the M4 can be seen at the end of the road, towering above which is one of the vast advertisement hoardings that line that section of motorway.
