Brentford Towers
The six 23-storey towers blocks known as Brentford Towers in Green Dragon Lane are a very prominent backdrop to views of Brentford from the Kew side of the Thames.

Approaching Old Kew Junction
The railway here, seen from the Lionel Road South bridge, is used for freight only giving a link from the North London Line at South Acton (Bollo Lane Junction) on to the south western network. Trains are not very frequent. The tower blocks are part of the Brentford Towers (or Green Dragon) Estate, completed in 1970.

Path by Green Dragon Lane
A curving path passes an area of grass above Green Dragon Lane. Across the road, Wicksteed House, at 70 metres, rather dominates the standpipe tower http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-202608-metropolitan-water-board-pump-house-towe at Kew Bridge Steam Museum, which is 60 metres high, but further from the camera.
