30s Houses on "Whitton Park"
The area is still referred to as Whitton Park. The Houses were built on what used to be Whitton Park and Whitton Park House (the mansion of the Gostling family). Whitton Park House was demolished in 1911 after the estate was sold for development.

Nelson Road Primary School
On days when there is a match at Twickenham (rugby union) the Parent Teachers Association hire out the playground as a car park, pre-booked only at £15 per car, it is still a 1 mile walk to the ground.
