The Cloisters - Wingate
This photograph shows a view of the old A.J. Dawson's grammar school in Wingate. After it ceased functioning as a school building the premises was converted into apartments. The grassed area in the foreground of the image formed the school playing field. The picture was taken looking in a south-south-westerly direction towards Low Grange Farm.

Cycle path access point at Wingate
Just south of this point the Haswell to Hart Cyclepath and the Castle Eden Walkway converge. The A-type access control is designed to prevent access by motorcyclists.

Cyclepath crossing at Wingate
The cyclepath which follows the line of a disused railway has to cross the A181 at grade. Just south of this point, the Haswell to Hart Cyclepath and the Eden Valley Walkway converge
