Kings Bowling Club pavilion and green, Torquay
Near the corner of Torbay Road and Rathmore Road. Torquay railway station is nearby.

King's Bowling Club
The club was formed in 1927 as the Princess Gardens Bowling Club, using a site near to where the Princess Theatre stands today. In the 1930s the club moved to the present spot by the King's Gardens. Hence the club changed from Princess to King.

Ornate octagonal towers, Torquay
Erected in 1910 as entrance pavilions (with ticket offices) to the Recreation Ground, which is now the home of Torquay Athletic Rugby Football Club, Torquay Cricket Club and Kings Bowling Club.

The King's Gates
Entrance to the King's Bowling Club: the gates and ticket offices. The Recreation Ground was embellished by these gates and octagonal ticket offices in 1910. Grade II listed.
