Hutchings Way, Teignmouth
The upper end of Hutchings Way runs down from near the summit of the Mill Lane ridge and here looks down to the backs of houses in Cartwright Crescent. The slope is gentle compared to that further down. The unnamed hill in the distance, on the east side of the Coombe valley, dominates views of the town.

Hutchings Way, which looks like a former council housing estate, is a steep loop off Mill Lane. Across the Coombe valley are the properties lining the private road Thornley Drive. The more recent Yannons developments above. The turrets of Yannon Towers itself can be seen to the right of a mast on the right skyline Image in Image
The amount of greenery on the hillside is surprising; there are still parts of Teignmouth that defy development – so far.
