Oddicombe Beach Hill closed
The road down to the beach has been closed after a major cliff fall. There's no danger to the road itself, so this is presumably to discourage sightseers who might put themselves in danger. The beach is accessible using footpaths, however.

Old Milestone by the A379, Babbacombe Road, Babbacombe
Carved stone post by the A379, in parish of Torquay (Torbay District), Babbacombe Road, junction of York Road, 50m from Kirkham Practice, on pavement built into wall corner, on South-west side of road. Teignmouth twin face, erected by the Dartmouth, Torquay & Shaldon Turnpike Trust in the 18th century.

Old Mileplate by Babbacombe Road, Babbacombe
Cast iron plate by the A379, in parish of Torquay (Torbay District), Babbacombe Road, outside Kestrel Court Apartments, fixed to white painted pillar in wall, on South-west side of road. Torquay iron plate, erected by the Dartmouth, Torquay & Shaldon Turnpike Trust in the 19th century.
