Carved stone post by the A379, in parish of Torquay (Torbay District), Babbacombe Road, junction of York Road, 50m from Kirkham Practice, on pavement built into wall corner, on South-west side of road. Teignmouth twin face, erected by the Dartmouth, Torquay & Shaldon Turnpike Trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : TORQUAY / 2 / MILES : : TEIGNM / M.F. / 6.3 : Carved benchmark lower left hand face. Milestone Society National ID: DV_TQTGa02.
