Cast iron plate by the A379, in parish of Torquay (Torbay District), Babbacombe Road, outside Kestrel Court Apartments, fixed to white painted pillar in wall, on South-west side of road. Torquay iron plate, erected by the Dartmouth, Torquay & Shaldon Turnpike Trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- EXETER 22¾ TEIGNMo 6¾ TORQUAY 2 PAIGNTON 4¾ BRIXHAM 10 DARTMo 12¼ TOTNES 10½ Milestone Society National ID: DV_TQTGa02a.
