Prefabs on Station Road
A long row of prefab bungalows, probably built in the 1960s under the auspices of the Telford Development Corporation, on Station Road in Madeley. If the date of erection is correct, they are probably the 'Mowlem' model, built of cast in-situ concrete and a tiled roof.

The Little Haye House
Rather more ancient than the brick street frontage suggests. The central (timber-framed) part is thought to be a medieval cruck-framed, 2-bay hall house, into which a half-height floor has subsequently been inserted, thereby creating first floor rooms. The brick parts at the near and far end are somewhat more recent, i.e. 18th or 19th century, and include a small shop frontage which is currently trading as a jeweller. Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101352024-the-little-haye-madeley#.WuMhMNQrLGg in 1968.
