A pair of early-to-mid 19th century town houses, to which a brick frontage has been added at some stage. They were collectively Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101208726-39-and-40-church-street-madeley#.WuMf1NQrLGg in 1983.
